Overheating!!

My Sho has been acting up for a while now. Running hot and fan not working. Well tonight it just ran really hot. It was on the N most of the way, then right before i got here it was almost at the red line so i had to shut down and let it cool. I think its the thermastat, and i have one sitting back home. But i need to MAKE IT HOME. Any idea's on how to keep it cool?

remove the t-stat, RTV the t-stat neck, go on your way.

Or just gut the t-stat, and skp the RTV mess

this is only a get you home fix... do not run without the Tstat.

So should i remove it all together? or RTV it?
