Overdrive Questions PLEASE READ

I have a problem. I can't get my overdrive to turn off when i push the button nothing happens, but it may come on later that day. Any Quick tips, I gotta be able to turn off the overdrive in a SHO. Come on. HUGE DIFFERENCE.

did that, it is the switch. it is worn out. you will need to get a new switch, DO NOT TAKE THE SHIFT **** OUT!!!!! just take some pliers grab ahold and pull the switch, it will come out from the side, then, if lucky the whole thing will come out in one piece, my button seperated, I just stuck a finger in, and pulled the housing of the switch out, when replacing be VERY careful, there are these lil pieces of copper that need to go into certan spots, they will bend easier than anything, so don't force it, but yep, mine did that till it wouldn't work anymore.
