Ordered a new 2010 SHO

Just placed my order for a new Gen IV - 401A pkg with the performance pack in Ingot silver with solid black interior - didn't really want 401A but that was the only way to get sunroof. And I want it to match my Gen II.

My wife was picking up her 2010 Flex eco-boost she ordered and while I was waiting for her to complete the transaction I was looking at the new Mustangs and happened upon a 2010 Taurus on the lot, decided to check it out and wow - that thing makes my '93 Gen II feel like a small car so I begged for more info from her salesman and before I knew it I was placing my order.

He came across this on the internet when we were searching for SHO inventories -

We have the exact same taste there partner. Identical color to mine. Of course everyone knows that's the best color combo 2010 SHO out there.

I myself would give up the Track Pack in Favor for one with the NAV System. Red with the Black/Tan Split Leather pelase!

Thats what I did Sam. Could care less about the track pack personally. But we got spoiled getting to drive them and see what all the cool options were. I figure in a couple years, they will have all the options to be included with the track pack. And did you know the MKS has the parallel parking set up?? Not on the SHO, yet that is. And you know you want a green SHO, not a red one.

Ok, You can't get options from Package 402 A (I.E - Rear heated Seats, Rear View Camera, Rear power sunshade, Adjustable Pedals and Blind spot detection, ETC) With the track pack. But I guess you are able to get NAV. The Ford guy's told me that the track pack was not available with NAV.

The red car I drove today definitely had the track pack and nav, but just like you said, didn't have the reverse camera, BMS, active cruise, etc.

Maybe the nav/track pack is pre-production stuff? Though I'd be hard-pressed to pay 40 large for a new car that didn't have sat nav.

I configured a Track pack with NAV on the website. However, Your are not getting anything from the 402 A package and keeping the track-pack according to the Hissy Fit the website threw when i tried adding a 402A Option.

I got mine yesterday. Green with Black. I loaded it with everything I could, and no track pack. When I first ordered, back in April, I learned I could not get the 420A with the track pack. To me all the interior goodies were a lot more useful anyway. Active cruise is amazing! So are the seat massagers for that matter! So far, in one day I've put over 200 miles on it. I love it!!!

the 401a is due to the track pack, not the moonroof

you can have a roof on 402a as well

i really wish the track pack was available on the 402a, but oh well

Welcome, post pictures when you take delivery. Silver/Black is my personal favorite for car color combos.
