oil leaking

oil is leaking on the cat and causing it to smoke.and loosing alot of oil any suggestoins where it comming from .i had the valve cover gasket replace to weeks ago. 94 atx

Cam seals, and or your front main.

Clean it all up and put the car in jacks turn it on and watch it leak.

But if I hade to guess it would be front main seal or oil pan.

The front seal?
Cause if ur doing that might as well do a new timing belt too.

It's your cam seal on the rear head under the cam sensor.

Possibly a pinched valve cover? Was it leaking before the valve cover replacement?

I second that, when I changed my seals mine got caught on the chain and rolled under. The oil practically poured out as soon as I started it though.

yes it was leaking before the valve cover was replace. their is oil allover the cat on the pasenger side. about how much would it cost to do the cam seals/front main at a shop

That was happening to me when my front main seal was leaking, but I was never able to discover where it was coming from until I ran some engine dye through it. Then it showed up plain as day.

For 6 bucks and a couple bloody knuckles you can do the front main seal...might as well do the timing belt while your there though.
