OIL Everywhere

I have a 94 ATX last night I was driving and notice that when I accelerated the car seem to rev up but I didn't get any power from it. I thought it could be The tranny fluid but that was fine. Since I was 40 miles from home I tried to make it back. The car started to get worst by not going any faster than 70... then 60.... eventually the car would not do anything and as I pulled over to the side of the road and let go of the trottle it just stalled out. After the tow home at 4am I got up and started pulling it apart and found a ton of oil in the trottle body and in the intake. I also notice the the car is noticably slower when trying to turn it over. Any help???

sorry sounds like bad bad news. does car have a lot of miles? any bad noises during failure? have you checked compression?

How is the alternator?

No noise at all just progressively got bad. I haven't checked the compression yet. I have to go get a guage. The alternater is fine I had no lights come on. The check engine would come on here and there but that was for EGR valve, or It could be for more than that but I just didn't have a chance to check it since it only took about an hour for the car to die.
