Here for the longest time, I thought, I had a leaking front valve cover, that it was making its way down to the starter. Found this about a year ago after I finished my head swap and front 60k. Funny how when you get an engine all sealed up, the oil still finds the weakest spot and starts coming out.

Sunday while I was changing the oil I noticed the new oil filter I put in already had a new oil spot on it already leaking out after I had filled the engine with oil. Not to mention the starter was covered in oil. I hand tightened the filter onto the oil cooler.

Well anyway, I think I figured out that it was the oil cooler to block gasket.

I found some instructions here. The pics show a Fram filter, that he used a gasket from, but fails to mention which filter it is, like number of the filter.

Anyone know what filter it is without having to go to the auto parts store and open all the filters? Even just the engine the filter goes on?
