Got the intake back on and changed all the vacuum lines that I could get to and cleaned the EGR passage and switched the lower intake gaskets. Also got the rear secondary to switch on and off again (just had to work the spring by hand a little).
After the test ride (got into it pretty good seems to run sweet but can't tell till I get it out on the highway and run it for an 1/2 hour or so) got back into the garage and smoke is pouring out the rear of the engine on the passenger side near the CID - WTF !
Whats the fix ?

What's the problem? If you didn't have this leak before the last intake removal and replacement, the leak is probably coming from the rear valve cover seal in that area. You will have to remove the intake and valve cover again to inspect that seal. It is imperitive that the seal is still inserted into the valve cover when the cover is being reinstalled. A visual check is required and it helps to have a small mirror. How old is the seal? They are usually good for about 120,000 miles or maybe 6 years before they get too hard to seal properly.

If the leak has been there since before the last removal and replacement, it could be from the back exhaust camshaft seal at the CID sensor. That is a bit more work to replace than the valve cover seals.

The bottom line is that you have to locate the source of the leak. Then you must fix it.
