Hey Guys(and Gals),

I just remembered that the Southeast region of TCCA is scheduling an outing to run Tail of the Dragon on October 22-24, 2010. Don't know if this may be a scheduling conflict for anyone. :salute:

Sounds cool, but I refuse to drive that road. I've done it once and the level of stupidity by other drivers who believed they were Michal Schummacer convinced me to never go back.

So is **** still want to do a meet? Both of his SHO's are on craigslist. :swing:

-Sam

You weren't supposed to see that Sam. :nut: They've been on there for a little bit. I'm waiting to hear from you guys now. Think we narrowed down to the 10th & 17th but the track stuff may be a no go. And even if my SHOs do happen to find other homes, I will always check in here and I will always have Andi's anytime I want one. :naughty:

It's ok, both of my SHO's are for sale (89 and Track car).

If they sell (Both), My new car will have in the neighborhood 550 CHP.

The 89 Will Probably sell, But I don't see the track car selling. Oh well!

Well, unless someone gives me a list of folks who are willing to go through with the drag stripping, it may not be happening. I'm pretty sure they are needing a head count the sooner the better. Its just an 1/8 mile track too, so sounds like to me the locals will only open the track if the money is right. I say we wait until we can hit a 1/4 track like Va Motorsports park. But that's just my .02 worth. If anyone wants to call them back at Office: 252-264-2066 and attempt to get more info out of them, be my guest. I'm pretty lieniet doing whatever. I also sent Kirk a PM to see if he wanted to join us too. Haven't heard back from him yet.

OK guys and gals, looks to be I'm coming up with @ 10 people thus far. The 10th or 17th seems to be our option and the drag strip will have to wait to next time. The weather should permit a cook out still though so we ought to be fine. I have a deck, gazebo, 2 garages, etc. so getting together comfortably shouldn't be an issue if the weather gets chilly for some unknown reason. We all packed inside Sam's place just fine and that's about the size of my house too. Hope you guys won't mind fighting with one of my dogs over the rocking recliner if we are forced inside though. Any other ideas, plans, food preferences, etc. that anyone can think of? ****

Hey, its been awhile since I checked in. I'd like to come and meet you all. The SHO sits alot and could use a nice day out.
A day at the strip would have been cool, but I'm still not welded and would'nt chance it.

^Sweet. That'll make # 11 if my math is right. Cool deal, just hope your Gen 3 aint green. Don't worry about the track and cams bud. Unfortunately, just cutting on your car you risk a chance of spinning one of them boogers. If ya need it welded up though, you'll be coming to the right place. ;)

True enough, but I wanted to get out and meet people. I'm glad the ac worked on that 92. And that the trans didn't explode. Can't wait to open it up and see inside.

Awesome! We got some more action on here. Sam, fix your sentence. You have a grammatical error there partner. Kevin, quit whining about the heat. If you get hot up here man we'll toss ya in the pool. :nut: And yes, A/C in a '92 SHO is a beautiful thing. Especially since it's 19 years old now.
