Happy Holidays SHOForumsers!

My O/D switch no longer turns the O/D on or off. It's constantly on, fortunately (I guess). Any ideas as to why this is or how to fix it?
Thanks,

I heard once before that there is a wire coming from that switch that connects to the tranny and sometimes that connection to the tranny gets rusted or comes off. I am not 100% on that...and I am sure others will chime in.

Its typically on all the time, unless you turn it off, that's when the O/D light turns on(it shows the O/D Off light actually). I believe it is a normally open switch(on the shifter), it most likely a cut/pinched wire/or both wires.

I found this link.

Why don't you use a push button switch?
