Okay just completed my upper 60K and it is not starting at all! It doesnt even turn on for a few seconds and shut off. I checked all my vaccum lines, when I changed my plugs and wires I double checked to make sure all plugs were gapped to .46". The wires are (borg warners)? When I installed wires I was using a Chiltons as a reference. Before I rip off that intake again what should I check for that I might have missed? Note: When I painted Intake i did remove the TPS, does that need to re-calibrated?

Have you checked to see if you have fuel and spark? That would be a good place to start. Did you do the timing belt? If so, check the timing. Also, if you used the Chilton's manual for the wires, best check the routing as the diagram is incorrect. (The routing itself is correct IIRC, but they have the cylinder numbers noted incorrectly.)

I don't believe that the TPS needs to be recalibrated.

o geez I think the coil is:

51
62
43

and engine is:

123
456

this is off the top of my head and I am not sure if it is right, but if yours doesnt look something like that its wrong, the coil is not in order i know that much for a fact.

Also when you did the timing belt what way was the lettering facing? Could you read the lettering from the fender side or the engine side? The crank should be lined up around 5 oclock NOT 7; if it is around 7 you have the timing belt backwards, and the car will not even fire (ask me how I know)

Thank you. But I did not touch the timing belt, i only did the upper 60K. Front 60K after I get her running again. Before I rip the intake off I would like to know the exact firing order, I do appreciate the one that was given. Thanks

Okay found the problem, it was the firing order. Thanks to the trustly old Chiltons manuel! 1993 MTX SHO-Thanks pal you were on the money. And wow! Now I actually know what SHO's can do just with a 60K! I would love to feel it after a few bolt-ons. Now I can eat dinner and get a good nights sleep. Thanks.
