First Autocross in eight years (Since I moved from KY), and first event since Lime Rock in '04.

The Neons had shaved Khumos.

The Mini had aftermarket 17's by what looked like 7". 245 section width.

Still beat him!

My car just wouldn't turn with the Comp T/A G-Force Sport 215/55-16's on.
I bought them to correct my speedo and to get better mileage than with the KDW's I used to have on. Definately NOT the tire of choice between the two!

Still, not bad.

I should add that the PFMC pads that worked so well at Lime-Rock didn't stop me nearly as well in an autocross. They were great on the street afterwards. The rear pads (semi-metalics) might be the culprit as the nose dived a bit more than I am used to. I even over-ran the stop line (Though I was going almost 5K in second through the timer!) Any good suggestions on a rear Carbon Metallic pad or better quality non-Autozone Semi-metallic?
