I have a frest 3.2 in my car, new rod bearings, new valve shims, basically a whole 60k. But it just doesn't have the power it should. It doesn't have smooth power delevery, below 4k u can feel it comming and going sometimes. Any idea's i am putting a new fuel pump in this weekend, maybe that would be it?

P.S. It ran rich for a while because of bad o2, could it have plugged the cat and its now not letting it breath?

putting new cats on might be the fix...i dont know what is going to cost more, putting 2 cats on there (i dont know if you have anyone who can fab up a new y pipe, its a tight fit under there!), or more engine diagnosis and work.
