no start

my 1992 mtx most of the time will start fine,but sometimes will start then die.and will not restart until the next day,car just cranks.changed fuel pump,relay controle moduale. any ideas?

This should probably be moved to the maintenance subforum, but the cps is known to make these cars cut off. Has the water pump been replaced recently?

I second the vote for the CPS, mine did the same thing when it died.
