I sucked the half tank of gas out where the fuel pump goes with a hand siphon pump. Replaced the fuel pump while I was there. However I cut a hole under the back seat so I did not have to drop the tank.

Other posts have reported you can disconnect one of the vent hoses at the tank and insert a siphon pump hose through there. But how much gas is in it? If you can cut is 50-50 with fresh gas, it should be okay. Dump in a can of Techron to add detergency.

Well, depending on how accurate the gauge is. It reads almost 3/4 of a tank, so either way I would have to drain the tank somewhat.

I tried another way of draining the tank and it worked. What I did was ran a fuel pressure tester line off of the schrader valve on the rail into a gas can and ran the fuel pump through the EEC test connector. It's definitely not the fastest way but it works well.

I filled the whole tank up with fresh 93 and it still runs like ****. Could it still be out of time?
