NO SPARK new coil pack new dis

Hi i need help,
well i just bought an 89 ford sho nice car it ran fine i drove it home about 50 miles but when i got up in the morn it would not start its got plenty of crnking power and its getting feul but no spark,
I changed the coil pack and still nothing i checked the dps mod still nothing i also bought a new dis mod still nothing tach moves when i crank it what els can it be if you think its tham cam mod wher is it located and about how much does it cost im tryng to narow it down so can do it my self before i take it to my local ford and drop some crazy money. please help i need my car. thanks

A very similar thing happened to me. It's either two things. Check your wires that plug into or near the coil pack to be loose or even disconnected. or change the ignition module. I may be way off since i don't know Yamahas.

Make sure you are getting 12v ignition to your coil pack and dis mod. You should have 12v on the Red/Lt. Green wire when the key is in the run position. Check that out first.

You mentioned changing the DIS module ......make sure the two plugs that connect to the module are in all the way and that the terminals inside the plugs are clean and free of corosion. If the plugs are out even 1/8 th of an inch the car will not start.

looks like you might have a bad cps. does it start after you leave it for a little while. A known issue with this sensor is that it will shut off ur car and if you try to restart it, it will just keep cranking. If you leave it for 30 mins or so, does it start then?? If it does, then it's probably ur cps. Stands for Crank Position Sensor. Have fun replacing that.
