no power

I just put new rod bearings in my car. Just finished everything up and went to start it and it had no power. No lights, nothing works everything is dead. I was wondering if i may have fried a fuse because someone the battery got hooked back up and i made some sparks with the power cables to the starter. But can someone try to lead me in the right direction?

very recently there was a post about someone junping the car with the cables switched, if you search for that it'll lead you to the correct fuses to check/replace.
