Ive been working on this problem for months and still cant find the problem. First off, my lack of power was due to fouled plugs because the thermostat was stuck open and running cold for quite a while. I replaced thermostat and got all new plugs. It was running great for a while then it went back to having no power again. I checked plugs, they are fine, engine temperature is right where it should be. The only other thing i can think of is if one or both my cats are clogged, today i found a piece of catalyst coming out the hole of my muffler. The other thing i thought it could be is MAP sensor, i get a code 126 which is MAP/Bp Sensor out of range. I did however replace this sensor with no luck. Would a map sensor cause a lack of power? I did use a aftermarket sensor, not sure if this could be faulty too. Well Im stumped, any suggestions welcome! Only thing left to do i think is get a Ford MAP sensor and replace my y-pipe.
Oh yea, and one test i did was taking off my cat-back, in case it was my mufflers restricting air flow, and on the test drive this did not help
