Two months after getting yet another new starter put in this am it seems I have no power to the selenoid from the ignition wire. I need to go home tonight to confirm this as well as a battery of other voltage & amprage tests per starter/altenator.com but are there any thoughts out there on what the issue could be?
Nuetral safety switch? Where is it how to check?
Fuseable links or similar?

Thanks in advance,
Jon

i would definitely check the continuity of your wire. i had bad wires which wouldnt allow me to get the starter to turn a few months ago. i know the neutral safety switch lies on top of the tranny, but not having had to deal with it on my SHO yet i couldnt really give you any pointers. also check your main fuse box in the engine compartment. could be you blew one of them, in which case you should also check your ground connections.

I would check the Manual Lever Position Switch. Located on top of the tranny under and forward from the Master Cylinder. Power goes from the ignition switch through the MLPS to the starter solenoid.

Thanks guys!
It turned out to be a mispositioned shift lever.
Checked the fuse, threw it to neutral & it started right up. Back on track now.
