So I went to go to work this morning in about 17 degree weather and let the sho warm up for about 10 minutes. Figured it would be fine. Got in and went down the road and no heat, my engine warmed up fine but my windshield fogged up and I couldnt see good thing for a spare car so wat do I do now. I thought I smelt sometyhing funny when the heat was on before, but I checked the antifreeze and it was there so I am at a loss.

Please help

Sounds like the heater core has sprung a leak. Other possibilities include the blend door being stuck in the cold position and not allowing the heated air to circulate.

If the heater core is leaking, you will see a puddle of coolant either in the car or under the car - you said the windows fogged up, that is a symptom of a leak, although its been cold where you are so its possible that the windows fogged up just from the breath of the passengers.

If the blower won't run, then you won't get much cabin heat even if the heater is working properly otherwise, so you need to fix that first - likely the blower control is bad. pm me if you want one, I have one in my for sale ad for a 92-95 car.

If you notice the sweet smell of ehtlylene glyciol inside the car, and the fog on the wiondows is still there, it is due to a slight leak in the heaeter core or a line near it is leaking. You dont want to drive around like that very long, as the fumes are a health hazard.

May have a water pump with impellers destroyed by nasty coolant.
