I swear things only happen when I have plans to drive my SHO...
I had no headlights, but they come on when I wand the high beams. I just swapped the Multifunction switch, and they still don't work. I have been all over the scematics and I can't see where the issue lies.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Did you get a bad MFS from an auto parts store or did you originally try using a used MFS?

If you still have your old one keep it as a spare. You can usually clean the contacts up inside and it'll work again.

P.S. I LOVE your sig image. :thumb:

From the symptoms and the posts I read, I diagnosed the problem as the MultiFunction Switch. So, I got a new MFS from auto zone, against my better judgement. But, when it's 8:00PM the night before a SHO meet, i had to surrender my judgement. When it didn't work, I freaked out a little, posted, and called another Ford guy...he said to go get a "dimmer switch." I didn't realize what I was after until I returned from autozone and saw exactly what it was. I left the new MFS installed and will deffinately mind your advice... I just have this fear of anything electrical from auto zone.

Oh, I hear ya there. My oldest just went through 2 starters from Advance before he got a good one from Autozone. I couldn't believe that 2 starters, though reman units, were bad out of the box. One had a bad solenoid and the other a failed starter drive. You'd think that they'd test those things better, but I guess not. :banghd: I can only imagine what kind of "quality control" electronic parts have. Hopefully the QC on those is better than what the starters have.
