no brake lights

well ok i got my new mufflers put on 2 day and now my brake lights dont work when i turn on the parking lights they come on in the rear but when i step on the brake nothing comes on can someone help me.

the switch at your brake pedal may be disconnected or bad.

at the pedal is that hard to replace

not hard at all. Take your shoes off, throw your legs over the seat back and stick your head under the dash with a flashlight. Probe the wires first to see if you have continuity when the pedal is pressed.

ok what else can cause this problem

an open circuit, bad fuse, or blown bulbs.

check and make sure the wires off of your brake pedal didn't come off it happend to me a while ago
