Hi, well i finally got my SHO (welded) and wanted to know what kind of mufflers do I get...from what I read it should be offset/offest 2 1/4in? Im thinking about going with bullets, but where do i buy them at? Also who would i talk to about buying a VAK system? Im ordering a UDP and programmer from FMS. Im planning on bypassing the cat and resonator and adding a cone filter for the colder months and porterizing the stock box for the warmer months or when i know ill race someone. Thank you

Flowmaster part # is 42443 IIRC.
Paul Nimz (SHOZ123) is the man you need to talk to about the VAK... if he even has any left.

Flowmaster 40 series keep the stock tips cause they look badass and get rid of the 3rd cat i did just that and it sounds sweet. you dont need anything else or any other company. The 3rd cat bypass by shoshop needs to be modified when you get it to fit in but well worth it.

One advise! stay away from those sho slop bypass flex pipes, those are crap! just go to a muffler shop make hem put a ****** and a piece of pipe and get rid of your cat for less than $100. Without the leaks from sho shop garbage!

Well i actually heard a clip of bullet performace mufflers so I think im going with them. anyways, would it be beneficial to bypass the resonator with the 3rd cat?

I wouldn't bypass anything. Timeslips show that removing the third cat slows the car down. We need all the low-end torque we can get. Just replace the mufflers and be done with it.

FWIW, 2" fits better than 2.25" so if you are going for Bullets, get them in 2" offset/offset.
