I am right there with @DDLopes - I take mine out only to drive maybe on an early Sunday morning. Since joining this forum - Mar of '23, I maybe put 500 miles on her.Holy crap! When mine was running I thought 2k miles was barely driving it for a year ….
RIP PTUJust got the car back yesterday. The turbo installation took longer than expected due to an issue with one of the turbos. Once I got it back from TurboBay everything went smooth. This week I’ll be breaking them in and hopefully if the weather cooperates I’ll get it done this week. TurboBay recommends 200 miles needed to break them in. Brad is ready to start tuning the car so hopefully everything goes well and I can hit the Dyno next month. To make 600 plus whp in these cars will be impressive. But we’ll see …
LMFAO . I anticipated that there was gonna be a big load on the PTU. So I had it rebuilt even though it only had 29K miles on it. And had the gears WPC treated for extra durability. So hopefully it will all help. Plus I change the fluid every 1000 to 1500 miles.RIP PTU
PTU will be fine. It's the clutches in the trans you really gotta worry about lolRIP PTU
Once everything is all set I’ll fill in all the details with my experience regarding TurboBay!
Lol… I will it’s been a long and interesting journeyPlease do
