Howdy folks, just recently obtained a very well kept and cared for 1997 SHO, and figured I'd join the relevant forums regarding these things.

It still needs a slight amount of work, but nothing too terribly involved. AC blows hot, the dash is peeling up around the dash cluster a little bit, and the driver's seat has certainly seen better days.
Other than that, it's in great shape and I've enjoyed it throughly so far.

Thanks for having me, and I'll be sure to come here if I have any questions.

And yes, the cams have been welded :)

That dash pad seperation happens on almost every car I have seen. Tried to get mine to seat and seal again with all manner of adhesive but but never worked.

Just get your jellybean on already, and 2JZ swap that B!!!
Nah, find a decent survivor with welded cams. Then you throw on a Flowmaster series 40 and be done. Slower then all ****, but they sound so good. Perfect cruiser.

The fix for the hot a/c can sometimes be a shim-ectomy.

They came with the car, and I can't say I'm super fond of them.
I believe they are Vision 473 Axis', however.

I'd like to get an OEM set at some point but it's far from priority. These are functionally sound.
I've been looking for some way to get rid of my OEM '99 5 star rims. Too bad you're so far away.
