Not impressive I know but still the fastest I’ve gone to date. Thanks to everyone’s solid advice and Bradley for the killer e30 tune I’m a full second faster than last summer. Full weight, just over a quarter tank of gas and a very humid 86°. I hope with a few tweaks here and there I can join the eleven second club come fall.

Nicely done!!! Great 60ft too! And a 12.2 is still really good for these boats. Congrats!

Thanks guys. I made five passes and the times got better each one. I tried different things every launch too. Shifted to D, shifted to S, TC on, TC off. I’m thinking my RDU wasn’t happy with the TC on. The three I did with it on gave me the service advance track light after I let off.

60’s were all in the 1.7’s but I actually seemed the get less cherp with it off. Though, my fastest pass was with it on. So I don’t know what to think.

Get some lighter wheels you might shave off a tenth!
That’s on my mind for sure. Problem is, If I get new wheels I want to go 20 x 9.5 so I’d also need new tires. Which makes a $800 problem a $2000 problem. Since I still have a good 60-70% life left on my Conti’s, that just isn’t in the cards yet.

I am however building a custom catback. I have everything ready to go just can’t find anyone at the moment to weld and bend the stainless for me.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that my old school hotrod approach make this ricey V6 sound decent. But if not, it will definitely flow!

You can fit stock width tires on 9.5 wheels. While you wont get the maximum benefit from the 9.5 width you will get the weight reduction!
