Is it possible to put a hard button EATC on an 89? I was planning on putting the dash off of a 90 or newer sho in my 89. I didnt want to change the wiring. What can done? Were the 90 and up SHOs available without EATC and can my 89 EATC equipped vehicle be converted to manual controls?

PS) Can the 89 Cluster fit in a later dash?
TIA

I was going to swap the dash out of a 91 into an 89... everybody told me that the gauges should just switch but the clusters are different shapes. you should stick with the 90 and up gauges. as for the EATC the back is just electronics and hoses im sure the hoses wouldnt be to hard to figure out but the electronics might be tough to get it all working...

so ill be watching as well, but from what i know the gauge cluster from
89 is very VERY time consuming to convert to a 90and up,as far as the ETAC goes
i have no idea...heres hoping its an easy swap for the both of us!
