hello i have a question i know what the normal procedure is to do a code 332 the egr but i just had a new engine put in my car and i got this same error code after the new engine and before is there a reason that this would hapen

New? Either the EGR valve isn't opening, the EGR passages are plugged or the EGR pressure sensor is not working. Same reasons as for an "old" engine.

one more thing with a code 519 power steering pump will that cause your battery to drain because i leave it sit for a day and the battery will die.

if the alternater was going bad that wouldn't be the case would it becouse the battery would still have a charge the battery is loosing power the longer it sits there i just wanted to know if it is possible that the power steering could take power

The 519 codes states that the power steering pressure switch is open. That will not drain the battery. Shorted? Yes, it could be a power drain. I believe the PSP switch only has voltage supplied to it when the ignition key is in the ON position.
