I take it the stock heads have some major room for porting?
This must be for all the owners who REALLY don't care for the warranty huh? lol!

Well I only have a year and a half left on my 11 so a lot of the 10's should be down to around 6 months left on the 3/36 warranties anyway.
Coincidence?

If someone is to do a mod, why wait for the expiry of the warranty? If the mod is to cause an engine damage, you will end up paying for it warranty or not... So in my case, I prefer to enjoy the car right now with the mods and anyways, I haven't seen anyone yet using Livernois' products that had a damage caused with their tunes. So, I respect people that prefer to wait, but I think that they miss something in the mean time... really!
And actually, a newer car has less chances to break than an older one, so I prefer to do the mods now that the car is recent and sell the car in a few years... At that time, who knows, maybe they will have the new V8 ecoboost with 500hp stock! lol! ; )

There definitely looks like a ton of room to improve, as they appear to be pretty restrictive as-cast. We haven't flowed them yet, I just set one on the bench to take a photo.
Typically, when we port head for a vehicle with a power adder they gain power and lose some boost. For example, a Shelby with our CNC head typically loses 1-2 lbs. of boost and picks up 15-20 RWHP since it is more efficient. You can leave it as is or bring the boost back to the same boost level before to pick up even more power.
I just posted this is as a "teaser" but will post info as I have more data.

Powertrain warranty is 5 years/60,000 miles. Bumper to bumper is 3 years/36,000 bud.

DI Pump is definitely a weak link. No one knows what the safe minimum pressure really is. Certainly don't want to find out.....BAP helps some....
Small turbos are great for throttle response, but when used with a 3 Bar sensor, get peaky, and are unable to produce consistently steady boost levels.
Of course, the drive train may be an even weaker link, especially the rear clutch pack.
Very interested to see the dyno results of cnc'd/ ported heads combined with our turbos. May help the F-150 even more, considering it has larger turbos and a true 4WD/AWD system.

800 might be a bit exagerated, but I'd take a 600hp with reliability! lol! Don't want to stretch our luck too much!blah blah blah blah hurry up we want a reliable DD at 800awhp NOW!
