New clutch and flywheel

So I purchased a new clutch kit and fly wheel after all of my mishaps I feel like driving the SHO on two out of three torque bands I was ready for that performance clutch I wanted. I saved up the money and bought the clutch I then had the better idea to buy an aluminum flywheel even seeing how bad it was to drive. I finally got them to the house waited for the weekend and tore the engine out with the help of some much needed family. We got down to the clutch and replaced the parts with new ones. I then got it all together got a new exhaust pipe not the cat back by the way. I figured dropping 20 something pounds it’d be hard to drive it. Also judging by the reviews saying it was harder to drive I thought I knew what I was in for. I found out later those reviews were wrong and that it didn’t change at the slightest I’ve never drove a car with this much into the clutch and flywheel and this high of performance stuff so I have no experience with it maybe a quick ride through downtown will change that maybe not. But I used the clutchmasters 3.5 clutch which uses a Kevlar organic mixture which is nice on a spring hub with heavy duty pressure plate. I bought the aluminum SHO source flywheel. Is it just me or will it get harder?

Well it changed a little just have to rev it higher but DUH

So after driving trough downtown going to school and back it’s tough but it’s worse than with the stock flywheel still a pain to drive through. I will add though that THE worse part is that cold start in the morning if you just go without warming the engine it wants to die like crazy. I did **** it once in a hurry to leave my driveway but not anywhere else so I think it’s a good product

Glad you like it. Too light for me, but some people like them.

Just don't put too much heat into it (revving/slipping any more than needed) as they can warp.

Had one for years, definitely improves throttle response while in gear, chassis dynos confirms 3+ HP (its not real HP but thats another story).

Am trying the SHOshop steel forging this time. What a nice looking part.
