This one has me kind of puzzled. My new alternator was installed on the 97 today and now the doors will only unlock, but not lock. I tried using the keypad, keyfob, and the switches inside, no luck.

I haven't checked fuses since I figured if they unlock fine, then the fuse must not be blown.

Anyone have any ideas or places to start?

There is a relay to lock all the doors and a separate on to unlock the doors. Sounds like your locker one is toast. It is to the right of the steering column under the dash. There should be two stacked together.

It's the one with the Pink/Black and the Pink/Yellow wires.

Is this relay also on 93 SHO's? Because I have this same problem with my 93, will unlock but not lock. What is the relay called?

Could a bad door lock actuator cause the doors not to lock? Because I have noticed lately when I unlock the doors, I have to manually unlock the back driver side door.
