Hello all, I encountered a construction trench last week, that bent my 2 front wheels. I am getting the wheels redone, and repaired, but have decided I will use it as an excuse to maybe get new rims. I can get American Racing's pretty cheap, I know someone at a store, anyone running AR's? Any suggestions? I like the look of my Mille Milia's, but want a change!

I've had AR's before, they were pretty decent wheels. Only thing, the ones I had were polished and seemed to lose their luster quicker than I expected.

BTW, I'll sell ya mine.

Just Bought a set of MM's with Perilli's from Tire Rack. Sweet ! If you want to sell your 2 straight ones let me know. Sure like the look especially with 96 brake upgrade.

I plan to purchase 17" Centerline forged when I do my 13" Baer upgrade to help make up for the added wieght of the rotors and Quaife. Those centerlines are so light and strong you can pick up a few hp by changing rims.

Thanks to all for the info! It was an awesome construction trench in the road, which I ended up putting in a claim for in my town.... They are now replacing 3 of the rims.... I went to buy new ones from tirerack, but they are outta stock until the beginning of august and Im leavin for vaca next Saturday... I found a place nearby to repair them for $100 total..... It didnt even reach the wheel, just put minor flatspots on one of them, and tweaked the other one somewhere..... I do like the Teamdynamics that I think Fredhurderjr is running, the one that was rear ended, they looked nice..... Thanks to all for the input, I am still considering a change, but want to get the right ones, I wont regret... What about Enkei? Tastefull ones, not the bling blingin chromes... THANKS FOR THE INFO!

You should get some 18's for the rear and just leave the 17's upfront :p hehe j/k

I always thought the TSW VX-1's looked good in 17's.

Enkei RS5 and CDR9 s are pretty sweet. I was going to buy some for the GL, but I may sell it now that I finally got my SHO.
