My car came with the tape player head unit, was wondering if the gen II cd unit will plug up to the factory wireing or even fit the dash.

Go the cheap route now with a cassette adapter and use an iPod or whatever. Save and buy a nice aftermarket head unit.

Do what Dillon said, otherwise you need Gen 2 amps to go along with the Gen 2 head unit.

Theres no head unit in now, I know it had the cassete bc of the window sticker and I don't even know if the factory speakers,amp or sub even work
