I have not been online for over 6 months since my tranny went out. Where can I order a used tranny since I don'nt want to do the major overhaul. I have a 93atx but have been told that the 94atx is better tranny and bolts right up. Also are they difficult to remover and replace

I`m not sure if you can just "order a tranny".You can either get a bulletproof from Doug Lewis at fps ( www.fordperformancespecialists.com ),or try thye WTB section here.You are right,the 94/95 ATX trannys are stronger than the 93`s.

This weekend i am probably going down to a junkyard that has a few SHO's. I know one of them is an ATX; I'm not sure what year. Would you like me to get a quote on how much $ for it, or would shipping be too much?

I also suggest you get a tranny from a 94.
My tranny was rebuilt at a local shop. I think I have like 16-20,000 on it now and its fine.
I drive it pretty hard.

I have heard a lot about the FPS tranny. They use a Transgo kit which any tranny shop can do, But (could be speaking out of school) I heard the FPS tranny is a ford rebuilt that has many, many upgrades and a Transgo kit.
