ok, just to clarify i'm not a noob (ok, maybe a half noob) and i've pulled codes many times before just never on this particular SHO.
i have a severe bucking problem and i need to pull codes before i just start tossing money at it (thinking it's probably iab or tps) but i went to jumper the connecters and the STI (single pin) is GONE.
i spent 2 hours under the hood looking for this thing and it is not where it's been on every sho i've ever worked on. it's not under the hood the big connector goes under.
Are there any other places they could hide this? was there discrepancies sho to sho? i'm about ready to drive this off a cliff.
on a side note, i have access to a garage with a real diagnostic computer (modis) but we couldnt find a port for that either. do these have one? i thought all (modern) cars had a plug for diagnostics.
