Yeah she needs to soon. She is a sweet dog but we have a very big German Shepherd, 2 huge and one small fish tanks and a cat. No space for us.

Wow, I don't know how I missed this thread. My friend is looking for a dog right now, are you still looking for someone to adopt it?

She is kind of on hold for someone and I am waiting for her to get back to me. If I don't hear from her by Friday I will let you know

The ad is gone? What breed?

Or you could just contact a local breed specific rescue for surrender if it falls through. The North east is very rescue friendly.

It is a Pit mix. It is not our dog, we took it in for a friend. We'd like to see it go to a family but we are going to Disney World in a week and she needs to go. We know about breed specific rescue leagues but due to her being a pit mix they are at capacity. She really is a sweet dog, she grunts like a pig and will eat everything if you let her. Lays around all day and just wants to be next to a person. We can't keep her, we already have a 110lb Shepherd and just don't have the room.

Aww, thats too bad, such a sweetie but the girl carries a scarlet letter. Not to start any trouble but try listing her as a "lab mix" (white lie), you may have better results.

Have you tried petfinder yet? There's also a rescue forum on there that might give you some helpful insight.
