The person who had the car before put new brakes on the front only. I would like to get a good upragde all around, but I dont have the money, and I need the parts on Tuesday, when my mechanic is willing to help me. What pads and rotors for the rear only could I get from a local parts store that would be better than stock? :)

Yes, I did do a long search :nut:

Your only choice is a stock 9.9" rotor. As for pad selection, you could go with something a bit more aggressive like a PFC pad. The rear brakes dont do much in reality, other than stabilize the rear while you are braking hard. If you want flatter straightline breaking I suggest removing the bias arm from the control arm and zip-tieing it up around the valve so the rears get maximum bias. I noticed the difference. There are much more important things to waste your money then on rear brakes.

EDIT: Do not play with the bias valve if you are doing this one your 89. 90-95 SHOs had ABS making the proportioning valve redundent. You can get into some nasty sideways spins without it (like in an 89), so I would suggest you leave it alone.
