alright so i'm up at college right now with no jack and i left my repair manual at home, I looked around pretty good and couldn't see it from the top. currently the car won't even make an attempt to start every once and awhile which means i've had to pop start it twice. I can't remember seeing it while under the car before so where is it and is it hard to get to:thankyou:

It's at the bottom and front of car right behind radiator straight down below coil pack and fairly easy to get at from underneath.

Right below the oil filter, on the front of the engine. It's not too hard to get to, but you will need to jack the car up some and put it on jackstands. If you can borrow a set of ramps, those will also work.

Try wiggling the battery cables the next time it doesn't want to start.

Or tighten that nut.. :) clean it off too with brake cleaner or something and a wire brush if u got a copper one would be ideal. :) Your cables at the battery might do well with a cleaning too. Every little bit helps with electrical things sometimes.. ;)

Also I usually remove the PS cooler when I remove the starter. Before you remove it check to make sure it is getting 12 volts.
