Hi everyone! How are you guys doing? Me not that great since my SHO has been sitting in the drive way for a week now! Here is the story:
On last friday, being tired of my check engine light going on and off, plus bad gas millage and gas smell, I go on the SHOforum and find out that after cleaning the o2 and tha maf with intake cleaner you get some good results. I do so and the car runs great( better than before)!! I also clean the trottle body quickly!! It runs great and so smooth after!! on saturday morning after sitting outside the whole night in the cold, its starts but runs very bad for a couple minute and then runs great again, I then decided to take appart my valve cover and take care of those leaky spark plug wells seals, I dry the plugs and wires, they were all filled with oil. put every thing back together, It start but runs very very bad( big time misfiring) then after ten minutes or so, it gets ok! then I left it outside in the cold (-10 to -15 C) and it wont start again( it totaly floods itself) even with the go pedal to the floor it just turns over and wont start. put it in the garage for a night, next moring its start, runs bad and then runs perfectly when warm. I checked my code and I get 114(I think Its related to the climate here being cold) ,211 wich is the CPS that was replaced last year and 542 that come on everytime the car stalls! I really need help on this one. If anyone knows Brandon Keehr, he seemed to have had the same problem(from the forum) but the email address in is profile is no longer valid.. and we dont get the end of is story on the post.
thank to everyone who will reply.

Do the basics:

1) Verify spark plug cable connections. They are easy to get wrong (Don't ask me how I found that out).

2) Make sure the DIS module is properly grounded via the crossover tube bolts and the ground strap from the head to the firewall.

3) Check for vacuum leaks at the intake manifold by spraying carb cleaner around the base of the intake manifold, since you had it off. If the fluid hits a "hole" in the gasket, your engine idle speed will immediately change.

4) Cleaning the plugs and wires may not restore them to proper operating condition. you may need to actually replace them. Use only ones that have been demostrated to fit properly.
