Thanks to everyone that has responded,I have finally decided that it would be best if I rebuild the engine. Most of the engines are too far away and shipping will **** me. I will be contributing to the ShoShop fund (the never ending pit) eek! . Is the shoshop the only one that has a rebuild kit for a 3.0 or are there more places I can buy one for alot less price? If anyone has any info I'm all ears! So far I'm looking at $3,000 for the whole project :(. No wonder my wife hates my car.

[I have a 3.0 89' motor 118000 easy life, good history, the usual lower oil leaks-frt seal, pan, plug wells, no mods. runs great, still in car, I bought it 9/1/2 from the original owner at 106000 for winter use, diff failure 5/20/2 ends life, no 60k work, timing belt done in recent history, bad starter drive(starts), a good solid motor. Bill @ 612 724 7196 in Minneapolis. ac compressor not included.
