2 times out of 3 free tries. its really really close. the nox is the only thing failing which in dought is the cats.

I am assuming you are doing your own work? If that is the case, they will not give you a waiver. The repair work needs to be done by a "registered" shop with the state. That's the huge bummer part. Even if you spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in parts, it doesn't matter.

You can do a few things ( in my mind).........(1) keep trying to repair it and start paying to get the emissions test done, (2) find a "qualified" repair shop to state the amount of money that they charged you for however many times it was that they had your car in the shop and then it will pass, or, replace the cats and be done with it.

ya i failed 3 out of 3 times... i hate that place. oh well, i got the feb 08 stickers now baby.

do you know anyone that has a repair shop that would be willing to print up a fake bill for you to show them i know thats how some of my friends got around it

i had my uncle do that for me... but i didnt need it because it passed... i dont think he would do it for you though... sorry...
