Did a search but couldn't find what I was looking for. I got a standard Gen I am/fm cassette Ford radio out of the junkyard for my SHO. It works except the display bulb is burnt out (common w/ these cars---ours in our old 89 went out).

Does anyone know where I can get one of those tiny bulbs? They seem easy to replace; just pull the radio face off and unscrew it. My clock bulb is out as well but it's not worth tearing the dash trim off to replace right now.

Thanks man. I'm sure the parts house has them too. I know we were able to get a clock bulb for our old 89 at the dealer for 5 bucks but that was years ago and didn't know if they still have stuff like that.

I got a bulb at AutoZone today. I don't know about the clock but I can about guarantee you it's probably the same bulb; if not, another one I saw at the parts house. The one I bought for my radio display is a #24 in the yellowish/orange package. It's one of the 2 smallest bulbs you can buy. It has 2 filament prongs at the bottom and plugs in. Easy as ****. I would avoid finding radios at the junkyard, it took 3 before I found a working one and it still cuts out once in awhile.

Now, my clock bulb is out too. Must I remove that whole part of the dash to get to it? I noticed a small hole at the bottom where a paperclip or straight pin would fit. I don't guess that's to remove it is it?

OEM bulbs usually have the industry standard bulb number embossed on the glass for the smaller bulbs, and on the plastic-base for larger bulbs. Most of the bulb-catalogs you find in-store usually do not list many of the dash and most of the component backlighting bulbs like they use to.
