Hey I'm not sure where this connector goes...I was checking out my IAT connection and it was tucked under there pretty well...I've had others work on my car though so I don't know if it needs to go anywhere....I do'nt see any other connections down there...what is it for?

This is right by the airbox btw for those that don't have a photographic memory of component locations.... if someone would go out and check their car I'd really appreciate it :)

Cool it looked like something that hadn't been used in a while and I couldn't find another one so yeah it's probably a test port or something like that...thanks for confirming..since my car won't start I've been checking EVERY possible connector...

A good rule of thumb if you have the wiring diagram is to write down the wire colors and then start visually searching thru the wiring diagram since it indicates wire colors. Kinda clumsy way but sometimes it turns out to be the fastest if all other sources of info don't yield results.

I have an 89 and that plug your mentioning goes no where. As the other guy said it's a diagnostic plug. Mine has a blank plugged in it though.
