im polishing my intake runners, just started today and this is my first time at polishing anything. Just doing this took about 6 hours. My question is what do you guys use to get in the tight spots? I'm using a 6 inch medium buffing wheel and i can't get to some spots!
cut the ****** that joins the 3 together, it makes it SO much easier to work on & you don't need them joined together anyway!
the tight spots will still need to be done by hand.
Lookin Good! How did you start the process?
I sandblasted them(I know that as a bad move!) then removed the castings, sanded with 180 then 320 then 1000. After that buffed with a brown compound then white compound. Can you really cut the flanges?
