I will tighten down the lugs and check tire pressure, but I am getting vibration around 90 mph but nothing drastic. You can just feel it in the steering wheel where it's a high rate feeling, and not where the car shakes. Could it just be the aggressive tread? I just thought they would ride smoother. I can definitely feel the road much more. Is this to be expected? I know everyone loves them here which is why I got them, so maybe it's just a new tire feel that I wasn't expecting, but not necessarily bad.

I wouldn't say they are loud, but they don't come across as smooth. We have some freshly paved roads and even on that surface they aren't as smooth as the factory Michelins with about 50K on them but it might be fresh tread that I am feeling

Maybe. Maybe they are slightly off or the balance is slightly off.

I would verify tire pressure first, and then check balance. Mine are quiet and smooth and I run mine at 43 psi.

I just had a set installed. Ive been good but ill check pressures also. Maybe your balance shop did a poor job. Rotate the tire to other end of the car front or back and see if it follows. Then you know somethings wrong with it.
My first set of tires were tiger paws and on the highway it sounded like a cop was behind me from the weird siren noise they made

The "+" model's have a little more Road feedback than the old DSW 06's.
I've noticed that the plus model's are also noisier on Fresh tarmac.

I have the ++ on our boosted ’19 Flex and they are darn smooth, I’ll second that one is probably out of balance. I run that car at 40 psi

Well I think putting the pressure at 43 helped quite a bit and pretty much eliminated whatever I was feeling. Just a tiny, tiny bit of the steering wheel feel around 90 but nothing to complain about. I will get them balanced again in the spring after the winter rims/tires go on and off. My buddy just got the Sport ++ on his Maxima and raves about them after bad experiences with his last set of Goodyears.

Not sure what year you have but also to consider worn suspension, alignment, wheel bearing. Less of a possibility but something for the mental file for later.

43psi is wayyyyyyyy high.

You'll crown your tires and wear them from the high point in the center, outward to the side walls.

May want to lower them, and then check around for a more likely culprit of your stated issues (as luigisho suggested) rather than ruining your shoes my friend.

Plus, the snow's going to start flying around your parts, up North of that "cheddar curtain" between your location, and mine, and having tires that over inflated will reduce your traction in those conditions.

I run 42psi and the tires wear even across. Rides better and handles better. Remember, the 36(ish)on the door and in the manual is recommended for ride comfort for the folks that don't like a harsh ride. Most perf. based tires are Max rated to 50psi. Adjust the psi to where the wear, ride, and handling all work.

But like the others stated not gonna hurt to check the wear items in the suspension.

I respectfully disagree that 43 is too high, I’ve been running 42-43 psi in all my tires for 7+ years now and they all wear with no crowning. I also rotate tires every 5k miles.

I'm interested to see how these do in the snow, but I have a dedicated set of rims and snow tires which makes this car an absolute blast in the winter and bullet proof. Nothing more fun than sport mode and paddle shifting when the snow gets deep on deserted city streets!

Most excellent! Winter shoes are bar none the best route to go.

As far as your AS's though, just use caution at those PSI levels. No need to cause premature wear unnecessarily after all.

Keep it a temporary solution and keep searching for the root cause of your problem and address that for long term resolution.

Happy motoring and enjoy that Packers game today. God knows my beloved Bears aren't worth watching. Gggrrrr.....

I ran 43 psi in my DWS the life of them. They lasted 40k miles. Wore smooth across. Probably could have gotten another 10k out of them if my front was in alignment spec.
