I apologize as well for overreacting. It's so easy to misinterpret things on the internet.

I just received an email from Kirk. He's going to schedule an appointment with his tranny guy as soon as he gets back from convention. I also want to mention that he has been very professional in all my dealings with him to this point, and I really appreciate that.

I saw this car today, and, barring the fact that daniel was (no offense) stupid for not looking at it, Kirk should have disclosed the accident at least. At first glance the car does look very nice, but then you do notice the little things. I dont think Daniel was upset about the little rips and tears ect... but then he saw the bent frame/ cracked support/ accident damage in general, and that with everything else was the reason he posted here. I'm glad everything has worked out on this, but even if just a lesson to everyone, check a car you buy, and if your selling one, tell them everything, otherwise its gonna be a PITA for everyone.

The condition of the car is the main point to this thread.

I did contact Kirk multiple times and was not satisfied with the result; hence my post on here. You are right that I should have inspected it carefully before taking ownership, which I admitted to at the very beginning. That's not the issue of this thread.

I am not complaining about the car. I have accepted the fact that the car is mine now and that Kirk is not going to compensate me for my added expenses. My complaint is the misrepresentation of the car by Kirk. The purpose of a vendor feedback forum is to warn others of prior misdealings with particular vendors, and that is my purpose as well. Not once in this thread have I asked Kirk or NESHO for any compensation; I have simply stated what transpired and the condition of the car.

Constructive critisicm I am more than willing to accept; belittling I am not. Trust me when I say I have learned my lesson and don't need to be told it further.

The guy has a good point here

get off his ******* and stop taking sides cause you know Kirk or what not, he is going in this thread exactly what this forum is for, he is not lying or making stuff up.... if you all can't deal with the truth, just end yourself now..........

I'd be mad if I was in his situation....... perhaps the worst part is how he specified he wanted a good car to buy, its not like Kirk just came out of the blue and said hey I have a car... it was known from the begining that the guy was looking for a nice car, then this one was shoved in his face and represented as something it was not.

So you are taking sides yourself? Shoved in his face? Represented as something it was not? Hardly, but then again YOU are not part of the transaction either, which pretty much makes your opinion about as valuable as stocks in Emron.

So, your post means your opinion doesn't mean shit either....

I guess stocks in Emron aren't valuable because I can't think of anyone who knows of a company or once of a company named "Emron".

Well, it's not really an opinion that I originally made in this thread. Having worked on the car myself, I made statements regarding its condition. Since I worked on the car with Kirk I felt that my statements were more than just an opinion.

And my bad, it's Enron, typo!

Thanks for correcting me though, I'll sleep better tonight.

Kirk most certainly did NOT tell me it had been in an accident and had frame damage. I guarantee he/you must have known that, considering how far off the passenger front subframe mount was and how hard it was to get it to line back up when I put in the ALSFBs.

Look Daniel, at this point the particulars of the car are between you and Kirk. My reply was simply something said to prevent any further "stirring of the ***". I think we can all agree that WAY too many people that were not involved in the transaction of this car have voiced their opinion.

Regarding frame damage, I didn't do any work on that part of the car, so obviously I didn't see anything.

To be honest, Kirk is a friend and you and I have known each other for some time too. I wish for nothing but the best possible solution for both of you in this situation.

You're completely right Bob. I think this thread has run it's course for the most part.

For my part, I will post the results of the tranny work when it's completed and nothing more until that point.

I got back home yesterday morning from a trip to NESHO for transmission work. Kirk not only fixed my transmission issues, he also fixed my ABS system for me and even hooked me up with a nice SHO driver's floormat and a couple good coils. He was very helpful and was even kind enough to let me take the Gen 4 SHO for a quick spin.

Overall I had a good time and I am glad I made the trip.

Should have taken the whole week off to hang out with us :nut:

I would, except for two things:

1. Work wouldn't let me take the whole week off.

2. I'd probably end up in jail by the end of the week hanging out with you guys. I just don't think the phrase "But they dared me to officer" would work to get me out of trouble.

PSH, so long as BLF'nB is around, he is the only one to go to jail and we all get off scott free!

I'd give 10 whole dollars to have the "little bug" between you, Larry and Kirk worked out next. That amounts to about my whole life savings at this point so that's a lot for me to be offering up.

Being as this is resolved, I'm closing the topic.
