I welded my Borla ProXS muffler's in on 8/10/06 in a bit of a haste. Finally, a year later I was able to re-weld my tips correctly onto my car. Before they were not pointed the same direction, we're in farther than stock, and just looked like **** IMHO.

So I spent a good 5.5 hours chopping the tips and tail pipe off (Sorry no pics) and re welding the SS tips to 2 1/4" pipe. Opened the tip up as you can see, as the factory inlet is < 2". Welded everything up, ground down some parts, and painted the pipe with Hi-temp engine paint.

Looks good, sounds good outside, and is nice and quiet in the interior. Previously my tips were in front of the bumper cover just slightly, and now they are flush. Much quieter inside now. :thumb:

...now back to Xcal2 data logging...

Not yet. It is substantially quieter in the interior. It's still as loud outside, but its much more peaceful to drive.

I think I've got about 13-15k on these mufflers.

Thanks, next is to get the car up on jack stands and double check the welds on the front of the mufflers on the pipe going into them. I think I have a few pinhole leaks from the sounds of it.

Must have missed that when I put them in last August.
