not really. turbos are almost always run DIRECTLY off of a header. in our case (V style engine) we cannot accomplish that unless... we use two turbos

On another note... its alive... ITSSS ALIVEEEEE. N/A for now. lol sorted out some electrical gremlins and it runs now. super rich cause i haven't ****** with the tune yet but its all good. tomorrow is cleanup day at the shop so i dont know how much i will get done. i need to go out to mopac and buy a weld on aluminum bung for the oil pan and find someone to weld it on for me and then install the remote oil filter kit from sho source (in the mail) then install the oil feed line. after that its just charge pipes and downpipe... i need more moneys...

no because turbos are always remote mounted so it would be redundnet(sp?) to sya that for the turbo.
before he said when somone asked him why he would get rid of the SHOs signatue piece the intake to put a roots blower on it he said he was going to mount it by itself sperate of the motor and run pipes to the intake hence why I said remote mounted

I think i speak for everyone here that when we think remote mount, we think anywhere other than the engine bay.

Roots blower is usually always mounted to the lower intake manifold of any car.. unless they changed it one me.. and the other S/C is a centrifugal.. i don't see how you can remote mount a sc considering you need it to be aligned with with the belt driven accessories because sc are, well, driven off the belts.

i think you could consider a remote mount sc like running a jackshaft :p

qq for the tuning guys, i bought Tims old 48 lb injectors and was wondering what i need to do for the tune. if i just tell it it has 48lb injectors that enough?

Drove the car home to work on it for the weekend. feels good to drive it again. almost stalled it with the new clutch though that and the surging idle... it runs sooo fat. drove it with no bumper and no hood with the up pipe on lol. got a few funny looks. updates to come later tonight, my remote oil filter kit is out for delivery according to the tracking number and my buddy is bringing a welder over so we can work on the downpipe.

jklolrofl all is well. dropped the pan tonight well this morning i guess, its 245 sunday morning here. still working away. Got the bulkhead fitting in the oil pan for the turbo drain and i'm installing the remote oil filter kit right now. also installed a stainless upper rad hose to prevent severe meltage of the stock rubber one. also got the up pipe heat wrapped. all thats left is to finish the drian and feed kit and then do the downpipe and then i will fire it up. expect to see a video tomorrow :)

anyone know what a good scavange pumpp is and is cheap?

I think somedude with the turbo atx uses one, you should try to contact him.

edit: it might have been the guy 1slickred89 i think was the user who had a green atx with the turbo in the shifter tunnel, it might have been him, i cant remember now.
