my dash repainted

just thought i would share the pics of my painted dash if you can recall a while ago it was white .. and it looked off but i am liking this gun metal color

i'll say this right off the bat, not a huge fan of the shift ****, but other than that...it looks real good

AND: What kind of head unit is that? A newer Pioneer? I was looking at Pioneer headunits last night...probably going to be getting a new one soon.

i ll be the first to tell ya that the shift **** sucks i loved the stock one ... one day it decided to burst into pieces ... been looking fir a sice stocker to replace it one of these days.. the head unit i am using is a newer 2005 model it is the Pioneer DEH-P7700MP model and it works flawlessly

i have it in there because i dont want an empty hole in witch i can see my wires my sho was given to me with out the tray just an empty hole and cassete deck

hey thanks for the links on the headunit. I was browsing CarDomains store and came across the DEH-P6800MP. Very sexy...probably sounds a good bit better than my Panasonic too (which I love for it's simplicity in use..if nothing else). I'll check out the 7700MP too, which isn't on CarDomain. pft. They have the 28, 38, 48, 58, 68 and 80MP...which is where things start getting a little too pricey for my blood.

they had my series on ebay for $170 yesterday brand new the onley downside to this one is the pre outs are only 2 v

yea, it looks like the 6800 replaced the 7700, both have 2.2v preouts. The 6800 doesn't have buttons for presets though.

Check on eBay, there are usually Coin/Cup holders that slide right in. Sometimes you can find the cubby hole thing with a little door for storage. Makes it alot more clean looking.

BTW, the Dash looks great!

I GOT MINE AT AN AUTOZONE THEY SELL THEM AT ADVANCED AUTO TO COSTS LIKE 15 BUCKS ..suck to have it go huh .. you will need a valet type buttun switch to use your od .. i was lucky and had an extra one laying around
