SHO OFF
Hey guys been a while since i been on here , as you all may or may not recall i posted my car on here before it made 510 whp on pump gas . well a bolt broke on my fuel rail and a injector oring came out and leaned out one cylinder. it hurt the sleeve so i was in a rush to get back up and running so 1 i have a daily driver and 2 i dont miss any of the few races left in the season. any way to save some time and money i purchased a benson sleeved short block that only had 5k miles on it, well turns out they must have been the hardest 5k miles known to man cause this thing burns oil and rattles like crazy, but i am forced to run it any way for a few weeks at least. any way i swapped all my parts over to the new/used short block and got it retuned on the dyno due to the fact its a larger bore and stroke then my last set up so i knew it would need some tweaking. here is a video of the results.

the 1/4 mile pass in the above video was on the old set up. it went a best of 10.72 at 138 with the boost turned up to about 25 still on pump gas, probably 550 ish whp, hoping for low 10s on new set up some time in the next few weeks, and yes the baby seat is still in the back seat
and here is a little nudge on the gas pedal in 4th gear at 50 mph

and no it wasnt on snow or wet roads lol
the good news is this combo can make much more, for one thing we only stopped do to my fuel pump running out of flow, if i add a inline bosch we can go further, and my race gas tune is so conservative its only 1 degree more timing then my pump gas map, we still can go another 2 or 3 more on the 110 octane im am using, i predict 700 ish when i add the second pump and freshen up the block over the winter.
