first off, damn its hot outside

second off, I have a superchip module in my car.... if that makes any difference

I'm thinking about taking it out, re learning idle, then taking it out for a lil 10 min drive and see if I get the same exact codes

ok KOEO codes

511- no power to PCM pin 1

Memory codes

112- IAT sensor high or open
117- ECT sensor was low or grounded
118- ECT sensor was high or open
126- MAP or BARO sensor out of range
157- MAF signal low or grounded
219- SPOUT circuit failure
452- VSS problem

Engine Running codes

116- ECT out of range..... wasn't warmed up
172- o2 sensor lean
136- o2 sensor lean or not switching... wasn't warmed up
225- Knock sensor not tested

I never seen the 225 code thrown at me with a ford... the other ones are to be expected though cause I just started it up and tested it dead cold....

511 is from the chip...ignore that one.

when's the last time your battery was unplugged?

Pull the chip, reset the EEC, then go and drive the car and get it to OP TEMP. Then pull the codes again.

Also, during warm-up the car is running richer than usual.

I always had the 225 code as well as the 219 in my 93'... but the car ran fine, and still does(in the 91'... but I did replace the KS since the engine was out).

it runs like it has about 75 hp won't rev out

feels like no fuel or a clogged cat..

yesterday morning it was running perfect, later in the day I whent to go get some lunch and it just had no power at all.............

Jesus, I really don't think there's any realistically possible way all of those sensors could have gone bad in a week. It sounds to me like one of two things, in order of probability:

1) Corrupted superchip (remove, test again)

2) Open/short in EEC Wiring harness

3) Bad EEC.

EECs almost never go bad (only once or twice in the four years I've been here have I heard of one going bad), so I'd definitely remove the superchip as an easy test. I've seen plenty of superchips go bad, though, so start there.

Kinda sounds like a bad DIS.

you were almost on the right path young skywalker

I was thinking this too, I removed the Superchip and instantly many of those codes whent away without even removing the battery, but I was still left with the 219 was it? SPOT 10 degrees timing code.... upon some further investigation of this... it all pointed to wiring or the DIS............ I was like shit, this doesn't sound too bad, I got a spare DIS somewhere in the house I gotta find... go plug it in and nothing changed...

I will however say this, it does run slightly better, however nowhere near what it should... instead of 3500 being about max I can almost get it to rev out to 4k in gear now.............

tomorrow I'm going to check out fuel pressures, and also maybe investigate my y pipe to see if a cat got clogged up/melted/came apart

I really hope my cats didn't mess up... because word is Sho Source is gonna come out with some Long tubes in a few months... and well I guess I'll just have to be the first one in Florida with some headers! I'm just gonna connect them to the catback directly while removing the Borla resonator........ this rids the stock manifolds, y pipe restraints, and the merge y as well as the connector.........

3.2, long tube headers, true duals, no cats, no resonator BS, and two small borla mufflers haha... thing will hopefully sound like it has some balls....

When I had my 93', I always got that 219 code... The car ran great though...

Are you sure that the other DIS is good? Also, try a cylinder drop test.. just to make sure the coil pack isn't the culprit.

Another thing, maybe you jumped a tooth?

welp I have a few wires to probe sometime this week, checking fuel pressure isn't a bad idea either....

if all that checks out then maybe its something more serious

I have a 3.2 to put in... damn I just need time

I'm tired of this 3.sl0w

I think its tired too, or not timed/shimmed right

welp I've tried a different DIS, probed some wires off the DIS wire harness, ecu, spout...

my computer has a piece burned out, i tried to put a different piece in its place but its not the same specifications.. I get the same code back right away

I did get myself a breakout box, its pretty cool.. one plugs into the ECU the other part plugs into the harness and you can read all the wire inputs and check grounds etc...

well damn... I guess that makes number 3. It's odd that an ECU would just burn out like that... those things are built to damn near NASA spec... ok, not really, but they just don't ever break.

Where did you get a breakout box from!? Those things were hella expensive last time I checked!

Edit: At least I had the right diagnosis in one of my possibilities! #3 FTMFW
